Slightly off-topic question: In MW3, can you easily change your in-game name similar to how you do in COD4?

Are you sure it doesn't work while in a server? I've seen people 'rename' while in game, maybe they're using another method or something?

Nope it doesn't work ingame.
Other then that, there is a bug in mw3 that you cant Alt+Tab while being in a server, so you would have to CTRL+ALT+DELETE.
Anyways it doesn't matter as it doesn't work:P, so i quess the only way is to do it when you're in the lobby/menu.
I think the main reason for this is that mw3 runs by steam and there is no console.

What about users (like me) that play in Windowed mode? I should have a problem changing name then, as I can access the Steam window while in a server. Give that a go =) Originally Posted by wouterio

Just checked, same problem.
Like probably confirmed what i've just said about the game running trough steam.
